The Tampa Theater

The Tampa Theatre

Located in downtown Tampa, the Tampa Theater is a historical movie palace that was designed by architect John Eberson and opened in 1926. The Tampa Theater provides guests with not only an opportunity to enjoy independent, foreign, or classic films, but also a genuine 1920’s movie-watching experience. Surrounded by the Mediterranean-inspired walls, guests agree that the transportation back in time to watch classic films like the Wizard of Oz or It’s a Wonderful Life in their original formats makes the Tampa Theater one of Tampa’s most precious gems.
